My Fellow Rotarians,
It is my great pleasure to announce that the 2024 Rotary Institute for Zones 1B, 9 & 10 will be held in beautiful Taipei, Taiwan. I would like to extend a warm and personal welcome to you to this year’s institute.
As the capital and largest city in Taiwan, Taipei is an eclectic city that offers everything from world renown skyscrapers to alleys filled with delicious vendors selling local delicacies that have been passed down through generations of Taiwanese families.
We are thrilled that Stepanie Urchick, 2024-25 Rotary International President, has granted us this exciting opportunity. This institute’s co-Conveners will be 2023-25 Rotary International Director Chim Bok Chew and 2024-26 Rotary International Director Naomi Lin.
I hope that when the institute is held this December, we will have successfully actualized the 2024-25 annual theme, The Magic of Rotary through a multitude of ways. As a meeting of regional Rotary leaders, it is my hope that this institute will foster a dialogue on how each of you has been able to grow, unlock, or advance The Magic of Rotary through your service projects, and allow us to exchange ideas on how we can spread The Magic of Rotary in each of our regions.
I hope that you will find time in your busy schedule to attend this year’s conference and take advantage of the early bird registration rates. Taipei has much to offer, and you will find Rotarians in Taiwan are eager to extend a warm welcome and show you the best of Taipei.
